We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Illustrator to develop and design an illustration system that will work seamlessly across our product and marketing initiatives. This is a contract role, ideal for a passionate and experienced illustrator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As part of the product team, you’ll contribute to UI/UX elements such as detailed illustrative iconography, loading states, and moments of delight within the user journey. You’ll also collaborate closely with marketing teams to align illustration with brand storytelling.

You will

• Develop and implement an illustration system that enhances the overall user experience and brand consistency across product and marketing.
• Design custom icons, loading states, and other illustrative UI elements that bring delight and clarity to our users.
• Work closely with product designers to ensure illustrations align with UI/UX goals and technical considerations.
• Inform and contribute to marketing illustration efforts, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to bring ideas to life.
• Adjust work by incorporating input from data and A/B tests.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

About you

• Proven experience as an illustrator, preferably with a focus on digital products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing illustration systems, UI/UX-related designs, and marketing assets.
• Ability to build illustration systems in Figma, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with broader design systems.
• Understanding of product design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with a product team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and articulate design decisions.
• Experience working on contract-based or freelance projects is a must
• Ability to scale from simpler illustrations to larger, more detailed illustrations
• Must be able to produce a consistent style, and adhere to brand guidelines
• Someone who works with vector in mind and had proficiency in digital visualization tools
• Ability to optimize illustration assets for optimal performance and produce a consistent style.
