As a Senior Business Analyst at Workforce Solutions, you will be responsible for converting complex data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decision-making. Leveraging your expertise in data platforms, analytical tools, and visualization techniques, you will develop scalable solutions to deliver timely, meaningful, and consumable information to stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data management processes, including accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA/Python code, and organizing data for reporting
- Retrieve and analyze large, disparate data sets using SQL, Excel, and other data management systems to uncover trends and patterns
- Develop reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to effectively manage the business and make informed decisions
- Own reporting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies
- Build and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes
- Monitor existing metrics, build new metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
- Generate complex queries to dive deep on process issues and uncover root causes
- Innovate to improve customer experience through enhanced data visualization and automation

You will be directly responsible for maintaining front-end code using Python, SQL, HTML, Java, and R, while designing and developing automated data pipelines, sophisticated analytical modeling, and intuitive data visualization solutions. The complexity of this role extends well beyond basic data entry and extraction, requiring advanced technical skills and analytical capabilities.

- 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, HTML, Java, and R or other similar coding languages (or ability to quickly learn these technologies)- Expertise in data modeling, business intelligence platforms, and data visualization techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
