This role is critical to strengthening Zimperium’s relationships with its customers by driving engagement, advocacy, and retention through strategic marketing initiatives. As mobile security threats continue to evolve, the Senior Manager, Customer Marketing will play a key role in amplifying customer success stories and positioning Zimperium as the leader in mobile security.
The Senior Manager, Customer Marketing will lead and execute strategies designed to strengthen customer retention, engagement, and advocacy, while driving revenue growth through cross-sell and up-sell of existing customers. This role will drive programs that enhance customer satisfaction, expand relationships, and amplify Zimperium’s reputation through strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with experience in cybersecurity or enterprise technology, capable of developing compelling customer narratives and executing programs that maximize customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
-Develop and manage customer engagement initiatives, including Customer Advisory Boards, executive roundtables, and quarterly customer newsletters.
-Secure, develop, and promote customer endorsements through testimonials, case studies, and speaker engagements.
-Create and execute a customer awards program from inception to ongoing management.
-Oversee and optimize customer review programs on platforms such as Gartner Peer Insights, G2, and TrustRadius to enhance Zimperium’s market reputation.
Marketing Campaigns & Content Development:
-Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for existing customers across multiple channels (email, social media, paid digital, and in-product messaging) promoting best practices and also introducing complementary solutions and continued revenue growth within the account.
-Collaborate with content teams to develop customer-focused assets, including welcome letters, nurture emails, infographics, customer reference call guides, blog posts, and video testimonials.
-Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on key messaging and campaign objectives.
Data-Driven Strategy & Program Optimization:
-Analyze customer insights, campaign performance, and market trends to refine marketing strategies and maximize impact.
-Manage the marketing budget for customer initiatives and oversee measurement, reporting, and ROI analysis.
-Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring marketing programs are optimized for retention, expansion, and advocacy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
-Lead customer marketing efforts in close collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation and Corporate Communications.
-Act as the voice of the customer within marketing, ensuring messaging and campaigns reflect customer needs and successes.
-Provide leadership and strategic direction to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Experience & Industry Knowledge:
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
-8+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on customer marketing, engagement, or loyalty programs.
-Experience in the cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B enterprise technology industry preferred.
Marketing & Communication Skills:
-Proven track record of developing and executing customer-focused marketing campaigns that drive retention and expansion.
-Strong storytelling ability, with excellent writing and communication skills.
-Ability to craft compelling customer stories and advocacy content.
Analytical & Technical Skills:
-Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Gainsight).
-Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret marketing metrics and customer insights to optimize programs.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
-Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
-Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
