To ensure a future with the best and most diverse talent for Adyen, we’re hiring a Recruitment Leader to drive Tech hiring in the APAC region. In this role you will be responsible for designing and delivering the talent acquisition strategy to scale our new Tech & Operations hub in Bengaluru, alongside the BLR Site Lead and APAC HR team. As part of the Global Recruitment Leadership Team, you will also drive the overall APAC Recruiting strategy in collaboration with your Business Recruiting counterpart. You will build and lead a team of Tech recruiters onsite in Bengaluru, as well as remotely manage team members across other APAC countries.

This role is based out of our Bengaluru office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive APAC recruitment strategy, tailored to meet evolving business needs
  • Establish a strong foundation for the India site through key leadership hires
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing local Tech Recruitment team, fostering collaboration and growth
  • Cultivate strong, transparent relationships with global leadership teams, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Ensure hiring standards are met with a focus on quality, adhering to company values and culture
  • Drive global and local initiatives on DEI, rewards, employer branding, and candidate experience to continuously enhance the recruitment function

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in Tech Recruitment, including 4+ years of formal people leadership
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, with in-depth knowledge of the Bangalore tech talent pool; Fintech experience is a strong plus
  • Experience conceptualizing and delivering upon a Tech Hub strategy, as well as leading hiring for APAC countries outside of India 
  • Proven success in building recruitment functions from scratch, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a recruitment team, driving high performance and engagement
  • Experience using data and metrics to track recruitment performance, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Strong self-starter with a strategic mindset; able to create structure, set priorities, and drive initiatives independently
