Amazon's Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager who is passionate, innovative and has a strong drive to automate and simplify, and solve large scale ambiguous problems. The Devices Technologies team is responsible for products and services that manage Amazon's edge compute fleet - 1,000,000+ devices across 3000+ locations worldwide, serving both Global Fulfillment and Transportation (first, middle, and last mile). Our systems manage everything from leading edge robotics, to delivery stations around the world. We deliver innovative technical solutions to facilitate the massive growth in Amazon compute capabilities globally.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Technical Program Manager to lead large and complex programs requiring cross organizational coordination. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving multiple strategic technical initiatives, including ones related to Sustainability and aiding Device Technologies in our commitment to the Climate Pledge.
This is a high ownership role with significant scope and ambiguity. A successful candidate is entrepreneurial and invention driven, who thrives on solving hard problems, and has a passion for Sustainability; you have a mix of deep technical knowledge, effective lateral and upwards communication skills, and a demonstrated track record of successful complex and large-scale project deliveries. We are looking for leaders who like solving problems, removing obstacles, and enjoy leading cross functional teams. As a Principal TPM on this team, you will be responsible for defining strategies related to the use of devices and compute technology in our fulfillment operations, to help deliver on Amazon's commitment to the Climate Pledge.
You will be responsible for program definition and program management, with an emphasis on stakeholder partner management, and executive communication. You will also be responsible for introducing and driving adoption and tracking of mechanisms for partner teams to adopt in order to drive towards Sustainability objectives.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex, cross-functional Sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and risk management strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure ops processes, tools, and frameworks across Device Technologies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to identify gaps, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in our products and services.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across Device Technologies , providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Stay abreast of emerging infrastructure trends, and industry best practices, incorporating this knowledge into our strategy.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous learning.
- Manage relationships with cross organizational partners, ensuring alignment with our security objectives and compliance requirements.
