What you'll be doing:

 

  • Effectively managing and leading R2R, GL and Treasury Team
  • Keep the Standard Operating Procedures updated and establish due control mechanisms
  • Contribute to identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvement projects for the Department.
  • Attend Opco and or Client meetings where required.
  • Cash Planning and Forecasting and adherence to the Groups credit policy.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely resolution of client queries. Liaise with the internal teams and Opco in order to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Implement best practices in RTR process by engaging with team leads and client stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IT tools deployed within domain to drive productivity
  • Drive change management initiatives by focusing on achieving productivity, controls and operational efficiency within RTR process.
  • Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX/Internal Controls on a monthly basis.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure recruitment and development of appropriately skilled employees.
  • Superior project management skills in planning and executing improvement initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and undertake continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure delivery and SLA targets are consistently met and exceeded, and productivity targets are met / exceeded.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure continuous system improvements towards increasing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, SOX Auditors, and Internal Auditors and drive adherence to audit timelines.
  • Ensure appropriate responses are made to audit observations and corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Lead by example and by demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behaviour
  • Working closely with the leadership team and helping them to take strategic decisions
  • Drive teams to ensure maintenance of high-quality books of account and balance sheet.
  • Perform duties as the CAO for the businesses in scope.

 

What you will need:

 

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) having more than 15+ years of post-qualification experience in diversified domains of RTR process
  • Strong preference for candidates having experience in the Media Industry / Finance Shared Services / Finance BPO / KPO 
  • Proven track of managing and leading transformation projects in RTR domain to drive process excellence
  • In depth knowledge of diversified domains of RTR process with working knowledge of Record to report activities.
  • Energetic, detailed oriented, with an ability to drive adherence to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation, and influencing across different functions in SSC, Opco and other stakeholders.
  • Handled Internal and External audits
  • Self-motivated
  • Commercially focused with a strong Client service approach
  • Confidence in dealing and building relationships both internally and externally
  • Well organised with strength in prioritizing with a flexible attitude and adaptable mindset to achieve results.
