**About the Role**
The Marketplace Performance team acts to guarantee the ridesharing business growth and health in Brazil, while aligning on the needs of each city. We are the owners of the cities, being their first line of defense and responsible to ensure that we are sustainably growing while maintaining healthy margins; providing an effortless and reliable experience; and aligned as a company on the needs of each market.
We are looking for an individual who has strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business sense and Stakeholder Management. In this role, you will coordinate our local operations and be a teammate in coming up with initiatives to drive growth and operational efficiencies. This is a key position that can make a big impact on business and change the way people move in our countries. This role calls for a combination of analytics and ability to operationalize processes in a fast paced environment.
**What you'll do:**
As a Senior Business Operations Analyst in the Performance team, you will lead the operational strategy in our largest cities, collaborating with internal and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure marketplace growth. You will analyze city-specific challenges, develop tailored action plans, and work closely with teams to drive performance improvements.
1. Business Sense: Monitor, understand, and interpret specific operational and financial metrics to improve execution. Also, follow up on the territory P&L, support definition and monitor forecasts in conjunction with Strategy & Planning and Strategic Finance, push for profitability improvements across all lines until Variable Contribution.
2. Problem Solving: Understand risks and opportunities and generate practical recommendations that consider the business context and restrictions of issues
3. Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional stakeholders
4. Strategic Ownership: Own the territory. Be the gatekeeper for any changes or experiments coming from all parts of the company, educating the leadership team on critical decisions and quickly acting on priority issues presented in these markets.
**What you'll need:**
1. Minimum 3 years of work experience in analytical, strategic and fast paced roles, such as consulting, tech, startup, operations, project management and banking.
2. SQL proficiency and Exceptional Excel/data management skills
3. Exceptional communication, developed stakeholder management and organization skills
4. Ability to think strategically, handle ambiguity, and problem-solve in a fast-paced multicultural environment
5. Data-driven decision-making mentality and a explorer; use data to solve problems and effectively translate quantitative findings into action plans
6. A self-starter attitude is a must
7. English proficiency is a must
8. Some high-growth operations, Management Consulting or startup experience is preferred
9. Experience crafting experiments A/B testing
