So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Software Engineer to guide the front-end development efforts for our enterprise applications for our R&D team. This role involves leading a team in the development of highly scalable and responsive user interfaces using Angular 14+, NgRx framework, and Micro Frontend architecture. As a Specialist Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the front-end architecture, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality and performant user experiences.

How will you make an impact?

  • Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Define and implement best practices for UI development, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance in the use of Angular 14+, NgRx framework, and Micro Frontend architecture.
  • Design and develop complex user interfaces for web applications using Micro Frontend principles.
  • Design and implement shared components and modules to be reused across multiple Micro Frontends
  • Estimate tasks, set development priorities, and ensure on-time delivery of features.
  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies during development.
  • Deliver high quality, sustainable, maintainable code.
  • Be ready to take up new challenges and learn new skills.
  • Effectively communicate progress and challenges to the stakeholders.
  • Resposibilies
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Angular latest versions, Web Design with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Troubleshooting: End to end debugging and troubleshooting of UI and Service applications in timely manner.
  • AWS Integration: Work with AWS services like DynamoDB, ECR, ECS, and CloudWatch to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices for software development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and bring them to the team. 
  • Deliver Demonstrations: Deliver product feature demos and conduct knowledge sharing sessions within team and at the department level.

  • AWS Exposure: Hands-on experience with AWS
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies
  • Proficiency in Angular 14+ and related tools especially with NgRx framework for state management.
    • Solid understanding of TypeScript, RxJs, and ES6+
  • Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend architecture and frameworks/tools such as Module Federation or Single-SPA
  • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Babel, modern testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma
  • Experience with front-end performance profiling and debugging tools
  • Exposure to containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Exposure to services such as AWS DynamoDB, ECR, ECS, and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with backend integration and REST and gRPC based communication
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices
  • Experience using Security technologies like SAML, OAuth, Open ID connect, JWT or other IAM
  • Good to have .Net knowledg
