About the job

This position is needed to help our customers achieve value from their investment in Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP). 

As a Project Manager, you’ll manage post-sales customer implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and resource coordination, with a keen understanding of data and data workflows. While technical coding skills are not required, the ability to comprehend and leverage data insights is essential. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Facilitate discussions to align on project scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion. Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. The core accountability is to ensure that all post-sales customer implementation projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively. Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure that team members are aligned with project goals
  • Utilize data insights to inform project decisions and strategies. Understand client data workflows to provide informed recommendations and solutions
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle to maintain client satisfaction
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Highlight project outcomes, challenges, and areas for improvement

Required:

  • Proven experience in project management and client engagement roles
  • Strong understanding of data and data workflows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • English language proficiency IS A MUST

Desired:

  • Experience in a consulting firm, software company, or marketing agency is a plus
  • Experience leading technical implementations in Enterprise SaaS data platforms and/or marketing technology is a plus

Location

This role will be remote, and based in Colombia.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 15% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
