About The Team:

As the Quality Control Team Leader, your primary responsibility is to lead and support a team of Quality Control Auditors and the NOK Auditor Lead to ensure that quality control standards are consistently upheld across the production line. Reporting to the Quality Control Shift Manager, you oversee daily operations within your team, ensuring that rejects and issues are effectively processed and resolved to maintain production quality. You play a key role in addressing automation-related rejects, guiding the team to handle issues accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will monitor and support the performance and development of your team, fostering a proactive approach to quality improvement. Your collaboration with the Quality Control Shift Manager and cross-functional teams is essential for driving enhancements in quality processes, addressing performance metrics, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across shifts.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters.  You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager.
• Lead and support the team of Quality Control Auditors and NOK auditor lead, ensuring the accurate execution of rejected item processing. Maintain high attention to detail and strict adherence to established procedures to support consistent quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and work instructions within the team, fostering consistency and adherence to quality expectations in collaboration with the Quality Control Shift Manager and NOK auditor lead.
• Facilitate cross-training within the quality control team, enabling team members to handle various rejection stations and increase flexibility in daily operations to meet shifting demands.
• Manage the collection and documentation of rejection data, ensuring accuracy and relevance to support Quality Control Shift Managers in monitoring performance metrics and contributing to continuous improvement goals.

Who You Are:

• Ability to report and present in meetings
• Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The following would be desirable but not essential;

• Able to conduct root cause analysis

Work Schedule: Sun- Wed 7-7 (Day and Night shifts)
                             Wed- Sat 7-7 (Day and Night shifts)
