About the job

As Marcomms Manager, you will own the Copy and Content for the HelloFresh and Green Chef brands for the UK market.  Responsible for content creation across numerous touchpoints, you will manage and lead extensive cross-channel projects. Along with ensuring the smooth delivery of copy briefs both locally and globally, you will ensure all written content for both brands is engaging, customer-centric and in keeping with their respective Tone of Voice guidelines. As brand guardian for the UK, you will work closely with the global content team, to ensure all creative projects are delivered on time, and to brief.

What you will be doing:

Copywriting: Brand Messaging and Tone of Voice Guardianship (HelloFresh UK and Green Chef UK) 

  • Own the brand voice for the UK for both brands, by following best global practices and tone of voice guidelines. Be the ‘in-house expert’ for copywriting, challenging the channel owners to champion our distinct Tone of Voice for HelloFresh and Green Chef.
  • Drive creative excellence, helping to shape and build the HelloFresh UK and Green Chef UK brands forward. Confident in bringing new ideas to the table, the MarComms Manager must be comfortable scrutinising and challenging creative briefs.
  • Localisation of American English: align closely with the Global content team to ensure messaging direction is implemented on a local level, whilst ensuring the sentiment is appropriate for the UK market. This will include working closely with the Local and Global teams to ensure brand alignment on campaign strategy and execution. Many copy tasks will require taking the pre-existing Global copy and adjusting it to be UK-appropriate, whilst ensuring the content is still in-line with Global objectives.
  • Lead in planning, developing and writing impactful and engaging copy across multiple touchpoints, from customer emails and app banners to nationwide Out of Home, Radio, TVC and third party brand partnership campaigns. Approach copy briefs with unique and brand-led ideas that bring simplicity to sometimes complex messaging challenges.
  • Work alongside the Product Marketing team to align on the key messages and benefits we want to communicate through our copy across multiple performance channels. Expected to create product range names, write product descriptions and edit recipe titles in line with campaign priorities.
  • Work within the Applanga platform to upload web, iOs and Android copy directly to the back-end, where required.

 

Organic Social Media Management for HelloFresh UK 

  • Develop and maintain the social media Content Calendar in line with local initiatives. This will include local product development and seasonal moments, with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement across social channels.
  • Liaise with Head of Product Marketing, Partnerships and Product Team to ensure NPDs, Partnerships and product pushes are present on social channels, aligning with campaign timings and content approvals.
  • Write social post copy for Instagram and Facebook,ensuring all copy is on brand and in line with the tone of voice guidelines for HelloFresh.
  • Manage content creation for organic social channels with our agency ensuring all posts are on brand and message
  • Create monthly organic social reports and ensure all data is captured, taking notable learnings and insights from the results. Share learnings with the Global Senior Social Media Manager in monthly meetings.

 

HelloFresh UK Seasonal Magazine

  • Manage the creative messaging direction for the HelloFresh seasonal in-box magazine, ensuring the personality of the brand is present at all times. Work closely with our agency, delivering clear editorial feedback to ensure the brand tone of voice is on point for every magazine issue.
  • Help to shape the strategy and direction for each edition, working alongside the creative agency and Product Marketing Team to bring ideas to life.
  • Responsible for editing and proofreading the magazine, ensuring the copy is on-brand, accurate, typo-free and in-keeping with house style. Must be comfortable signing off the Magazine before going to print.

 

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years experience in a content role, agency or client side in a fast moving environment preferably in FMCG, food or technology.
  • Seasoned copywriter with strong experience in bringing a TOV to life consistently
  • You have a strong vision, are passionate about food and revel in the opportunity to make your mark in HelloFresh’s future.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; you thrive in a complex organisation and are able to effectively lead in a matrix environment.
  • A people-person and natural team player with excellent communications and creative skills.
  • Super organised and detailed-orientated with the skills to manage multiple projects at one time.

Location: The HelloFresh Farm, 60 Worship Street, EC2A 2EZ, London

Hybrid working: 3 days in the London office or at a DC site, 2 days flexible working per week
