Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) - Remote

Our distributed team of engineers located in  Austin, San Francisco, and Sydney are passionate about building the right product for our customers in the right way.

The B2B team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and maintain the systems that allow B2B merchants to serve their customers using our platform. This includes frontend applications built with JavaScript, React + Typescript. Architecturally we use REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and demonstrate a number of cloud infrastructure tools and deployment strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Use JavaScript, React and other frontend technologies to build and maintain web applications
• Collaborate with our product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines
• Engage in technical discussions to design new solutions and architecture
• Review your peers’ code to maintain and improve quality and security
• Support an open, positive, and energized culture
• Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
• Ensure that technical decisions support our goals around quality, high performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security

Who You Are:

• You’re a trusted professional with at least 5 years of experience building amazing products. You have ideas and opinions and you’ve tested and refined them through your work
• BS Computer Science or Equivalent
• Professional experience with TypeScript is a strong plus
• You have experience monitoring and operating microservices
• You have a solid understanding of modern programming and design principles. You write tested, maintainable code that you are proud of, and you are committed to keeping code quality high
• You are passionate and knowledgeable about modern technologies and tools, without being biased toward a specific technology. You’re more interested in finding the right tools and patterns for the job
• You’re an excellent communicator. You can explain not just your ideas, but the reasons behind them, and you’re comfortable doing that in person, over slack or email, or in a code review
• You lead by example. You own your work and hold yourself responsible for the results

Compensation: Base Salary Range: Gross MXN 954,000.00 - 1,345,000.00
