Intern Demo Experience (Value Engineering)

Celonis Demo Engineering is central to the success of the business.  We create experiences that kick off our customers’ journey with Celonis, guide them along the way, and help them visualize their future on our platform.  They are an incredibly powerful tool for setting the stage of our relationship with our customers and leaving an impression on them for years to come.

To create these experiences, we collaborate with executives, value engineering, product management, product marketing, enablement, event and industry teams.  We use cutting-edge tools and techniques to explore the boundaries of the Celonis platform and then push the limits to bring our vision to life.   

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the team.  Someone who has a passion for demos, the skill to bend software to their will, and the understanding of how powerful a well-told story can be.

The Role:

As a Demo Engineering Intern, you’ll be central to our success, helping the business build, configure and deliver demos on the Celonis platform. You’ll use your skill and expertise to create high-quality stories and use our solutions to bring them to life.

The work you’ll do:

• Partner closely with the Value Engineering, product management, product marketing and industry teams to build engaging demos on the Celonis platform.
• Leverage the latest technologies to push the boundaries of Celonis, creating compelling stories, beautiful screens, innovative use cases, and speculative mockups to illustrate the power and value of Celonis.
• Develop executive demos for C-level meetings, customer-specific demos for strategic opportunities, event demos showcasing our core capabilities, stage demos for major events, feature demos for newly-released products and visionary analyst demos.
• Create and evolve world-class reusable demo environments, where a high degree of attention to quality, reliability and detail is required.  
• Manage the entire demo lifecycle management process, from developing use cases and prioritizing features to storyboarding, asset design, configuration, QA, release communications and stakeholder management.
• Identify repetitive, time-consuming demo tasks and propose, design or build automation tools to reduce effort.  
• Monitor and respond to demo user questions, troubleshoot demo environments and collaborate with internal teams to solve them. 
• Build reputation as a demo expert and deliver demo creation/development/delivery best practice sessions for internal audiences.

The qualifications you need:

• A passion for demos, the ability to create engaging, compelling stories and the creativity and technical skill to overcome the inevitable limitations of software.
• Strong organizational, project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams against aggressive deadlines.  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Studying in Management and Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in solution engineering, demo engineering or technical product marketing would serve you well here.
