The On-Step Associate Compensation Team is a critical support function for the success of our talent acquisition strategy. We deliver compensation data foundations, analytics, and visualizations that empower leaders across HR, Worldwide Operations, and Finance functions. Since day one, our mission has been to build flexible products that help understand and manage Amazonβs compensation for 1MM employees on a step plan, spanning multiple job families, business lines, and geographies.
We are building an innovative product suite that ingests and analyzes vast amounts of people data to generate actionable insights through intuitive dashboards, integrated user experiences, and a Gen AI-powered assistant. Built using the latest technologies, these products will revolutionize how HR, Operations, and business leaders make informed, data-driven compensation decisions, with multi-billion-dollar impact.
To accomplish this, we seek an experienced PMT who will develop business requirements and execute a vision that drives compensation insights and investment optimization for our hourly associates on a step plan. As a member of this team, you will have an opportunity to be a thought leader in step plan compensation, working with a group of talented business leaders, consultants, data scientists, economists, and software engineers to design the Amazon compensation product platforms of the future. This position requires ability to quickly approach large ambiguous problems and apply product and engineering expertise to rapidly analyze, validate, visualize, prototype and deliver systems that drive data driven recommendations.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
