As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for helping guide AWS customers through their multi-year cloud journey. In this new role, you will ensure all AWS teams work together effectively and efficiently to deliver customer outcomes.
You will be a key partner for our customers, leveraging your experience with large-scale cloud transformations and helping guide them through their AWS adoption stages. In addition to guiding the customer through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.
You will interact with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between other key account groups (sales, support, solutions architecture, and professional services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams, planning and supporting important workload migrations.
You will manage cadence by leading reporting and tracking functions along the way. The execution of educational plans, guidance to align business outcomes, executive briefings, and launch events and transitions are some of the CSM-owned elements that are fundamental to our customers' cloud journey success.
You are encouraged to think big, invent, and take ownership of customer challenges. You will not only deliver the best of AWS/Amazon to our customers but also proactively help solve customer challenges through new ideas, tools, and mechanisms.
The selected candidate will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be exemplary communicators at both executive and project team levels. You will be a peer leader, have the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, negotiate, and lead virtual teams. Your enterprise cloud experience and operational excellence will influence team decisions, provide insight, and help drive secure and robust solutions.
You will promote AWS services and influence customers to adopt them. You must be passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience through AWS solution implementation and driving innovation, and must also be obsessed with contributing to the day-to-day management of customers' successful migration to AWS

Possess organizational and change management experience related to cloud migrations
Help customers identify use cases for priority AWS adoption as well as best practice implementations
Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other sales and marketing team members

About the team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field OR 5 years of experience in large-scale IT programs or implementation
3+ years of experience with enterprise-scale infrastructure or cloud programs/projects.
3+ years of enterprise IT experience, either as a vendor, consultant, or with previous experience working in or managing technical programs
Ability to communicate fluently in Portuguese and English in technical and business settings (verbal and written)Direct experience implementing AWS services
Deep understanding of software engineering/development lifecycle from conception to delivery and/or IT lifecycle
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to customer needs quickly and effectively, adapts to change
Analytical, technically competent, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions; organizational and problem-solving skills with precise attention to detail
AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or other cloud certifications, PMP and/or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certified
