UK Cardiac Physiologist (Remote)

Job Summary and Purpose:

Due to high growth, we are looking for qualified Cardiac Physiologists, Registered General Nurses, and Exercise Physiologists with strong cardiac recognition and interpretation skills to join our Clinical Operations Team.

This exciting role also requires PC proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Please note, this is a non-patient facing role.

 Responsibilities:

• Review patient’s ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilising iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools
• Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required and in accordance with physician notification protocol.
• Perform 100% quality assurance of the final report sent to physicians and provide report format modifications & additions as requested
• Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including completion of CCT (US) certification
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
• Communicate with internal and external customers as required

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 40 hours per work week - must have the ability/flexibility to work between the core hours 8am - 6pm. 
• This is a Full-Time, remote working role. However, the team will meet quarterly onsite in Bagshot, Surrey.

About You:

You are a qualified and experienced Cardiac Physiologist, Registered Nurse or Exercise Physiologist eager to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation.

Additionally, you have:

• Significant post-qualification experience as Cardiac Physiologist, Registered General Nurse, or Exercise Physiologist.
• BSc or nursing qualification
• Recognised ECG interpretation certificate g. SCST Certificate of ECG qualification or you must be prepared to obtain this certification while in role.
• Extensive work experience in a Cardiology Dept/Unit or in an area with focus on ECG monitoring for example ICU/ED or Exercise/CPET Lab
• Intermediate level PC proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team player
• Ability to use critical thinking skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
• Great work ethic and a desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients
