About This Role

The Sr. IT Infrastructure and Systems Engineer for endpoints is a critical member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for solutions engineering and operations of iRhythm’s infrastructure and systems.  Utilizing skills and experience, this person will work with peers on the Corporate IT team to design, test, build and production of our IT systems, including network, storage, compute, communication and collaboration services across our on-premises, co-location data centers, and cloud-based environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Duties in this role include:

  • Responsible for the design, build and support of endpoint technologies
  • Implement secure and fault-tolerant solutions
  • Provide technical leadership, support and architectural direction across multiple teams and domains
  • Server as an internal escalation point
  • Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects
  • Migrate systems from on-premise to co-location sites to cloud
  • Mentor less senior staff
  • Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution
  • Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise
  • Develop solutions for international expansion

What You Need for this Position

  • Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers.
  • Experience operating in a 24x7 international company (US, APAC & EMEA) with compensated on call rotation.
  • Excellent interaction and communication skills; ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, life-science, pharma or bio company a plus.
  • Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.

Technical:

  • 12-16 years of hands engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems
  • Expert level experience with SCCM
  • Expert level for design, implementation and management of Microsoft Intune
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
  • Architectural level knowledge of cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure)
  • Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Expert level Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Expert level at Scripting a requirement.
  • Expert level for JAMF implementation and administration
  • Expert level experience with patch deployment required.
  • Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
  • Experience with ITIL a requirement.
  • Experience with Linux a requirement
  • Expert level experience with designing infrastructure and administration of Apple devices
  • Routing and switching experience.
  • Experience with Crowdstrike and EDR technologies required

Education and Certifications

  • Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Cisco Certification a plus
  • O365 Certifications required
  • AWS Certifications required
  • Windows certification required

Estimated Pay Range
$121,100$176,300 USD
