Who You Are

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Director to lead integrated influencer marketing initiatives for one of the world’s most iconic food and beverage brands, specifically within the Trademark category for The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). This senior leadership role spans key markets, including New York, London, and Atlanta, and combines the dual responsibility of driving strategic, earned-first creativity while managing the overarching direction of influencer marketing for the entire Trademark portfolio.

In this role, you’ll lead an integrated, high-performing global team, collaborating seamlessly across local and global markets to deliver impactful, data-driven campaigns. You will champion Ogilvy’s influence expertise while pushing the boundaries of brand engagement in the Creator Age. At the same time, you’ll oversee end-to-end campaign execution, working with both emerging creators and high-profile talent to uncover new opportunities for organic growth and elevate influencer partnerships within the Trademark category.

As the primary point of contact for senior TCCC clients, you’ll manage critical relationships, ensuring alignment between the agency’s strategy and TCCC’s objectives. You will also inspire your team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including heads of influence, to continuously evolve our influencer capabilities, ensuring best-in-class execution from strategy development to activation. This role demands a strategic mindset to identify new business opportunities, inspire innovation, and contribute to the agency’s growth and vision—all while delivering measurable success across every campaign.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior clients within the Trademark category at the global level, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Lead the influencer strategy for major global food & beverage brands, ensuring distinct approaches for social media and influencer marketing that drive measurable results and maximize ROI.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class, innovative influencer marketing strategies and campaigns for Trademark brands, aligning with TCCC’s objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the global category lead and senior leadership to ensure alignment on objectives for the brand’s signature product lines.
  • Oversee the execution of influencer marketing frameworks, ensuring integration with broader social, PR, and brand strategies for cohesive, cross-channel campaigns.
  • Lead integrated agency teams (IATs), managing resources across regions to ensure high-impact campaign execution.
  • Provide leadership, clear direction, and purpose for the Ogilvy influencer team across all Trademark projects on a global and North America level.
  • Mentor and develop senior team members, empowering them with the tools, skills, and expertise to deliver best-in-class work.
  • Collaborate with global teams to optimize staffing, scoping, and resource allocation for efficient, on-brand campaign delivery.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, driving growth within the influencer marketing space, and ensuring ongoing evolution of the agency’s capabilities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, cultural shifts, and consumer insights within the Trademark category to inform strategic and creative recommendations.
  • Champion Ogilvy’s influencer marketing approach both internally and externally, solidifying the agency’s position as a thought leader and innovator in the space.
  • Manage relationships with influencers, ranging from micro-influencers to celebrities, ensuring smooth campaign execution and impactful creative.
  • Lead influencer contract negotiations, balancing client needs with talent requirements while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Champion Open X operational excellence for the Trademark category influencer team, establishing best-practice processes for project delivery from scoping to performance analysis (using CreatorIQ).
  • Oversee campaign performance, providing timely updates to global leadership on outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure alignment of influencer campaigns with overarching business goals, using data to drive continuous optimization.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation and monitoring of influencer business revenue within the Trademark category, including forecasting and billing.
  • Attend and contribute to Trademark category WPP weekly/monthly meet-ups, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

What You’ll Need

  • 12-15 years of experience in influencer marketing, talent management, and contract negotiation, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful, high-impact campaigns that drive multi-million dollar growth.
  • Deep understanding of the influencer landscape, including various platforms, measurement tools, and best practices, with expertise spanning celebrity, macro, and micro-influencer relationships.
  • Proven ability to craft and execute innovative, influencer-driven strategies, delivering measurable results and expanding business, often in complex, matrixed agency environments.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with senior stakeholders, including managing senior-level relationships within global, multi-market environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and leading diverse teams of influencer strategists, talent negotiators, and cross-functional creatives to success.
  • Ability to align influencer marketing with paid, earned, and owned media opportunities, ensuring integrated, holistic campaigns that support broader brand objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a track record of delivering strategic, data-backed recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, continuously using insights to evolve strategies and drive campaign optimization.
  • Passion for the Trademark category and the Coca-Cola brand, with a deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
  • Experience working within global or multi-market environments, with a demonstrated ability to navigate large, complex organizations and collaborate cross-functionally.
