About the Role
 
We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Denver. This role is critical in ensuring seamless technology experiences for our employees, both in-office and remote. You will be responsible for onboarding and off-boarding employees, managing laptop lifecycles, troubleshooting technical issues, and addressing help desk tickets. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting SaaS platforms, macOS, and Windows environments and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
 
This is a contract position based in Denver, CO. 
 
What You'll Do
 
  • Onboarding and Off-boarding Employees:
    • Set up and configure accounts, hardware, and software for new employees.
    • Manage access permissions and security protocols for departing employees.
    • Conduct IT onboarding sessions to familiarize new employees with tools and platforms.
  • Laptop Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the inventory, provisioning, and decommissioning of laptops.
    • Support in-office employees with hardware setup and maintenance.
    • Coordinate the delivery and return of devices for remote employees, ensuring proper functionality and security compliance.
  • Help Desk Support:
    • Respond to and resolve IT help desk tickets in a timely manner.
    • Provide in-person and remote support for technical issues related to SaaS platforms, macOS, and Windows systems.
    • Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support when necessary.
  • Technical Troubleshooting:
    • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, SaaS platform access problems, and hardware/software malfunctions.
    • Guide employees on best practices and troubleshoot common user errors.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of help desk tickets and resolutions.
    • Create and update IT documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
Skills We're Looking For
 
  • Proficiency in managing macOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, etc.).
  • Experience with laptop lifecycle management and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection protocols.
Bonus Skills
 
  • Experience with remote device management tools such as Jamf or CrowdStrike.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts.

Hourly Pay Range: $38-43

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands.
