We are looking for a Group Product Manager for our Engagement Pillar, a strategic focus area at HubSpot designed to elevate customer engagement across our platform. This role will lead a growing team of Product Managers, who are responsible for building systems and features that drive meaningful customer interactions, foster retention, and optimize the customer journey.

The Engagement Pillar currently includes teams focused on the following missions:

  1. Experimentation Platform Team: Building a robust experimentation platform to enable continuous testing, rapid learning, and measurable improvements in customer engagement.
  2. Re-Engagement Team: Crafting personalized and actionable reasons for customers to return to HubSpot, driving retention and deepened usage.
  3. Notifications Team: Developing a scalable notifications platform that ensures communications are actionable, relevant, and timely.
  4. Air Traffic Controller Team: Centralizing customer communications to optimize every touchpoint for maximum relevance and business impact.

These teams are critical to HubSpot’s long-term strategy, ensuring our customers have the tools and experiences they need to grow and succeed. In this role, the GPM will define and execute the vision for how we best solve for our customers, maintain a high bar for product quality, and position HubSpot’s engagement capabilities as a competitive advantage.

Please note: Due to the spread of the current team, this hire needs to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Join a product-led culture and play a key role in shaping HubSpot’s customer engagement strategy.
  • Drive our strategy, product roadmap, and guide new product ideas from concept to launch.
  • Partner with UX and Engineering teams to maximize value and usability for customers.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, strategize, and implement impactful solutions.
  • Build and support psychologically safe, diverse teams that achieve high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Empower your teams to work authentically and effectively, whether remote or in-person.
  • Align closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader business goals.

We are looking for people who have:

  • A proven track record of building and leading diverse and inclusive product management teams as a people manager (hiring, performance management, coaching, and beyond).
  • A deep focus on understanding our customers and improving their experiences through personalized and impactful solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to defend ideas and strategies to key stakeholders.
  • Experience with complex growth initiatives, experimentation platforms, and product rollouts.
  • Ideally experience working on a notifications platform.
  • Flexibility to operate as a player coach, PMing teams as the product group forms and grows.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, making decisions and iterating with limited information.
  • A passion for creating innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Cash compensation range: 216000-345600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
