Our team is actively searching for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on PHP development and database expertise. As a pivotal member of our Engineering team, you will play a key role in the creation of cutting-edge technologies, specializing in backend architecture, database design, and API development, while also contributing to frontend implementations. We are seeking an enthusiastic engineer who thrives on problem-solving, backend challenges, and taking ownership to contribute to the development of exceptional products. 

Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to our culture, and we are looking for engineers who can fortify this foundation. Our team manages cloud-based networking and security services, encompassing a range of products from cloud-managed devices like Access Points, Switches, and Routers to cloud-based security services. 

About You and what We need: 

• B.S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of programming experience, with strong focus on PHP backend development
• Expert knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) including query optimization, indexing strategies, and database design
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
• Experience with building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and software architecture
• Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting (bash/python)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of security best practices and common web vulnerabilities
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability strategies for both frontend and backend
• Enjoy learning, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving business needs
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with mobile application development (iOS and Android) using React Native, Flutter, or similar cross-platform frameworks
• Experience with server-side rendering and frontend performance optimization
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and implementation
• Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Vuex, or similar)
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
• Understanding of CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS) and CSS frameworks
• Experience with visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)
• Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication protocols
• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) 

Bonus Points: 

• Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and networking protocols (e.g., DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, SSL, etc.)
• Experience with caching strategies and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
