The Collaborative Apps and Platforms Ecosystem (CAPE) team empowers Microsoft partners and customers with the tools, guidance, and support needed to build impactful Microsoft 365 (M365) applications and services, solutions which underpin business processes and productivity scenarios across our diverse ecosystem of organizations and businesses.
As part of the CAPE team, you'll collaborate with partners across Teams, Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other M365 verticals and leverage the latest M365 platforms and frameworks, including the Fluent design system, to deliver transformational, user-centric solutions. Your deep customer knowledge and insights will help to guide features and enhancements that improve our products and drive user value.
As a Product Designer II, you will define specific product needs based on user insights to ideate and define solutions that meet user needs. You will create and develop design concepts and specifications that optimize the emotional and functional experience of a product. You will focus on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical tradeoffs. This opportunity will allow you accelerate your career growth, deepen your user-centered design, design leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
You will produce visual designs from concept through delivery and sustainment, support interaction designs for software-based experiences, and partner with internal development teams, marketing and design groups to research and analyze customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product designs and overall design language and strategy.
