The Team:

The People Operations Service Delivery team at Celonis focuses on delivering exceptional employee experiences by streamlining processes, providing efficient support, and ensuring seamless interactions across all stages of the employee lifecycle. As a central hub for operational excellence, the team combines data-driven insights with a human-centered approach to create scalable, impactful solutions that enhance organizational performance and employee satisfaction

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated People Operations Specialist to join our People Operations/Service Delivery team. This entry-level role (IC1) is ideal for a self-starter looking to build a career in human resources with a strong focus on operations and employee service delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to employees.

The work you’ll do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and people and culture team request, providing timely and accurate responses or escalating issues as needed.
  • Support new hire onboarding and offboarding processes, background checks, i9 including preparation of documentation, system updates, and employee communication.
  • Maintain and update HR systems, records, and files to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with HR-related communications, such as policy updates, announcements, and process guides.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to improve workflows and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage service delivery ticketing systems (e.g., HRIS or service management platforms) to resolve employee requests within SLA timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine HR tasks and processes for operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, compliance audits, or employee engagement efforts.

The qualifications you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS and/or  case management  systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in HR operations (internship or part-time experience is acceptable).
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Service Now).
  • Basic knowledge of HR best practices.
