Why this role matters:

As the Fraud Strategy Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Director, Risk/Fraud strategy in developing and ensuring execution of initiatives to mitigate fraud risks across our communication platforms and across multiple geographical areas. You will support the Senior Director by aligning stakeholders, driving program execution, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company objectives. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Fraud Program Execution – Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement and manage fraud prevention strategies and project plans.
  • Ensure Stakeholder Alignment – Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners to align on fraud mitigation efforts.
  • Analyze Fraud Trends – Work with data teams to identify fraud patterns, vulnerabilities, and recommend countermeasures based on insights.
  • Monitor and Report on KPIs – Develop dashboards and reports to track the effectiveness of fraud strategies and communicate findings to stakeholders, including executives.
  • Support Risk Management and Compliance – Assist in creating and maintaining fraud risk policies and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Participate in Audits and Reviews – Engage in compliance reviews and audits related to fraud risk management.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify process improvements and stay informed on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance fraud prevention efforts.

What you will bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Forensic Accounting, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years in fraud prevention, investigation, risk management, or program coordination, ideally in the CPaaS/UCaaS or tech sector.
  • Familiarity with communication platform fraud types such as toll fraud, subscription fraud, and account takeovers.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or visualization platforms such as Tableau.
  • Knowledge of fraud detection technologies, methodologies, and ability to collaborate in dynamic environments.

Experience we consider a plus:

  • Experience with fraud detection tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., STIR/SHAKEN).
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or similar credentials.
