About the job
As a Vonage Database Engineer, you will be part of our platform engineering team, playing a major role in designing and architecting the database platform and will work in MongoDB Atlas and AWS cloud with different services like MongoDb, RDS Aurora, MSK, OpenSearch, DynamoDb, Elasticache, EC2, S3 and more.
You will be responsible for database tuning and query performance, architecture and implementation of high availability strategies, automation tooling for schema migrations and credential management, and monitoring.
We challenge our Database Engineers to get into the boots of a platform engineer and work with infrastructure as code and configuration as code, automating the creation of databases in the cloud.
