The Amazon Fashion Discovery team is growing a multi-disciplinary team to address these customer needs through a new custom shopping experience. Our goal is create a fun and engaging experience that enables us to learn about our customers, produce personalized recommendations of products they will love, and make the online fashion shopping experience simple and easy.

Our technical challenges involve a combination of back-end software engineering, user interface development, and applied science. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences and will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. You will work effectively across different teams and functions, and be responsible for innovative products and programs that will introduce elevated browse and search experience for Fashion customers.

Key job responsibilities
Work with PM/TPM to understand the Customer problems
Work with folk team member to design and propose the solutions
design/implement/test the system and components
Maintain service to serve customers traffic

A day in the life
Building and shipping new features in fast pace.
High traffic front/back-end services
Strong tech team with talented engineers to learn from and work with.
Very good team culture and work/life balance.
Low OE (On Average: 1 Sev2 every 2 weeks, 10 Sev3 every week)- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
