Job Description

Job Summary: 

The Sr. Content Operations Manager, will lead and oversee the global content operations for website content updates, marketing campaigns, and promotional initiatives. This role will significantly focus on supporting international markets, ensuring content consistency across regions, and optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with content management systems (CMS), a proven track record of managing high-performing teams in dynamic and high-paced environments, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a global eCommerce setting.

 

Job Expectations:

  • Lead and oversee marketing promotions and campaign operations across all regions and platforms, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic content operations frameworks to support international market needs, ensuring localization and regional alignment.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team responsible for content updates and site operations, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.
  • Own the CMS strategy and execution, ensuring best practices are followed to optimize content updates and site performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments across the entire organization including marketing, product, and regional teams to align on website(s) updates and promotional campaign execution.
  • Identify and proactively address site issues, implementing solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to continuously improve content operations and promotional effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and regional regulations when executing content updates and campaigns.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:         

  • Extensive experience managing content operations in a global eCommerce environment.
  • Strong proficiency with content management systems (CMS), including implementation, workflows, and optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale teams in a fast-paced and high-paced environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to operational excellence.

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Strong experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms).
  • Advanced proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as ContentStack, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JSON and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop or Figma is a plus.

 

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of seven (7) + years of experience in marketing operations, content management, or a related field, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.

 

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Employees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies. Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.

$139,020$215,903 USD
