As a Senior Strategic Project Manager, you will join a world-class Strategy & Operations (S&O) team composed of creative, passionate, collaborative, and innovative individuals. Our team plays a crucial role in the organization by enhancing capabilities and fostering innovation through business governance, strategic operations, business intelligence, and corporate development. We aim to create a competitive advantage and develop a roadmap to achieve short, mid, and long-term goals, driving success and growth at Pax8.
Role Summary:
The role focuses on managing complex, long-range projects within a dedicated portfolio, maintaining clarity of purpose and communication among stakeholders, developing, and adhering to project schedules, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring documentation and performance measurement. The position oversees and executes transformational and integration projects to meet the organization’s strategic goals and deliver maximum value. Think of the responsibilities that require a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and operational expertise to drive successful outcomes and contributions to the company’s overall outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment, Planning & Execution: Ensure projects align with the organization’s leaders, the strategic objectives and drive results to the long-term goals. Oversee the development and execution of the project plan including setting goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Make recommendations where needed to achieve objectives, operational excellence, and value.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate and lead Executive(s), Leadership teams or Steering Committee(s) to align strategic initiatives and escalations. Identifying, building, and managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure program success. Dedication to understanding their business needs and meeting the needs of various stakeholders, delivering value, and ensuring satisfaction.
Problem-Solving: Works on complex problems where problems are not clearly defined. Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Engages in corporate development of methods, technique and valuation criteria for project, programs, and people. Identifies potential risks and strategies to mitigate the potential impacts to projects.
Tracking, Reporting & Communication: Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to stay on track. Provides regular updates to senior management/leadership around project progress, challenges, and successes. Utilizing tools and methodology to track and report.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Perform value analysis, benefits analysis, oversee initiatives, and compliance. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for the organization. Identify where process improvements, new tools, or innovative technologies may be used to gain optimization and efficiencies.
