Senior Software Engineer, Server System, Google Cloud Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in developing hyperscale, server platform design, firmware development or system architecture.
• Experience with Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), Kernel, Firmware quality test.
  
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

• Guide the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Server Program, overseeing the project from conception to launch.
• Be knowledgeable about firmware design, kernel development, and server system integration, with the ability to influence the ecosystem.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
