Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role, leading medium to large state-of-the-art complex products that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate product direction into technical roadmaps and plans to implement solutions, and effective communication of requirements to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability for thought leadership and building strong and productive relationships.

As a Product Manager in Payments Regulatory Compliance, you will have a critical impact on Google's ability to meet changing, existing and meeting new regulatory requirements which drive business sustainability and further expansion. You will be leading the mission of building innovative capabilities for the platform that includes Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions Screening and Know Your Customer (KYC).You will partner with Google businesses to understand their regulatory compliance needs and build the product strategy and roadmap. You will define the review tools that are used by analysts and explore how Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) can be leveraged to improve operational efficiency. You will partner with financial compliance investigators, engineers, data scientists, program managers and cross-functional stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Work on areas within Payments, Regulatory Compliance platform, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Sanctions Screening.
- Work with various business stakeholders to understand, measure, and prioritize individual needs aimed at reducing regulatory, brand and other payments compliance risks.
- Work with Google businesses such as Cloud or Play to understand their regulatory needs, define and launch products/solutions to enable their business growth.
- Build a strategy and roadmap for reducing business and customer insult through better user experiences, policies and operational workflows.
- Develop and manage complex and large-scale projects for the platform, work with multiple cross-functional partners to ensure on-time delivery.
