This role will require you to work closely with cross-functional teams such as Machine Learning, Analytics, Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Legal, Fraud, and Finance. In this internship, you will study the evolution of patterns in Commerce broadly, and more specifically in e-Commerce, and then situate our work in that context to provide insight and awareness on patterns and how they intersect with our values.   • Experience in business economics and sociology is a plus. The ideal candidate will
  • have the ability and interest to empathize with customer experiences from a
  • socioeconomic lens and be able to communicate that empathy powerfully in
  • written and presentation form.
  • An excitement about Commerce evidenced by past projects or classes in that
  • space.
  • Have an exposure to optimization (data science / decision analysis / industrial
  • engineering) and also basic familiarity with M/L distinctions.
  • Love writing to express yourself and believe that writing is an art form.
  • Have a learn-and-grow mentality and want to be challenged in a nurturing and
  • supportive environment.
  • Ability to work in a XF environment.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $44.27 and $66.40/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
