About The Team:
The Thermoformer Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of thermoformer equipment within the facility. This hands-on role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and optimise equipment uptime.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Work in a hands-on manner to actively monitor, fault find and repair systems in order to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on the asset
- Train and coach technical operatives, focusing on developing fault diagnosis capabilities, technical skills, and operational knowledge.
- Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager whilst also delivering the H&S metric as per department KPI's
- Any other responsibilities/duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role
Who You Are:
- Have Electrical or mechanical training NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a skilled engineer, ideally with thermoforming or similar machinery.
- In depth experience working with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs etc. to include programming, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and diagrams.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team would be beneficial but not essential
