The Prime Video Sports team is seeking a talented and innovative designer to develop and maintain style guides while ensuring quality control of creative assets throughout the production pipeline for our live-event, pay-per-view, and Amazon Original Docuseries sports properties. This role combines creative development with quality assurance, serving as both a designer of brand standards and gatekeeper of creative quality. Working closely with Creative Directors, you'll define and maintain graphics packages and style guides across our sports properties, such as Thursday Night Football, NBA, WNBA, NWSL, NASCAR, and more.
You will provide bar-raising quality oversight and demonstrate subject matter expertise in graphic design, ensuring marketing assets such as Key Art maintain brand integrity throughout the production process. Through developing comprehensive templates and guidelines, you'll help internal and external partners deliver consistently high-quality work across all platforms including digital in-app, out-of-home, and social marketing touchpoints.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Marketing org, with an emphasis on seamless integration with the Creative, Production and Project Management teams, to deliver best-in-class sports marketing content that resonates with diverse fans and audiences.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly collaborative, with a strong understanding of brand and entertainment marketing. You should possess strong writing and design sensibilities. Sports by nature are ever-evolving and unpredictable, and to be successful in this role, a candidate must be able to be nimble and responsive when opportunities or challenges arise.
Key job responsibilities
- Reviewing and validating all creative assets against established brand guidelines and quality standards
- Identifying and resolving quality issues before assets reach final delivery
- Managing the creative asset review process across multiple simultaneous projects
- Contributing to the development of internal processes that streamline delivery
- Making critical judgment calls regarding quality standards
- Ensuring consistency across all creative deliverables
- Tracking and documenting quality issues and resolutions
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive style guides for sports properties
- Developing templates and creative guidelines for consistent brand expression- 4+ years of creative experience in advertising agencies or in-house creative teams.
- An online portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, art direction, and design skills.
- Proficiency with industry design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.
- Excellent verbal, written, and storytelling skills.- Experience in sports or entertainment industry
- Background in production workflows and trafficking systems
- Knowledge of broadcast/streaming design standards and specifications
- Familiarity with various file formats and delivery requirements across platforms
- Experience working with external vendors and creative agencies
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

- Understanding of marketing campaign execution across multiple channels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
