Research Intern - Storage Systems

This Research Internship will be in Microsoft Azure Storage. The Research Intern will work with technical leaders in the Azure Storage organization to develop solutions to the problem of using ever larger capacity hard disk drives (HDDs) across a very large storage fleet, while dealing with the problem of ever lower performance per TB of the new higher capacity HDDs. The work will involve building solutions that work with the rest of the Azure storage stack and potentially writing documents and papers of the work.
