Principal Applied Scientist

The Advanced Reasoning Group is hiring a Principal Applied Scientist at Mountain View, CA, Redmond, WA, and New York, NY. The team is responsible for creating and delivering cutting-edge reasoning technologies that drive business outcomes for Microsoft and its customers built on our partnerships across the org. We are looking for a passionate applied scientist to deliver an amazing shopping experience with a strong reasoning agent and knowledge graph backing it up.

In this role you will have the opportunity to solve problems related to LLM-based reasoning agent, shopping, and knowledge graph modeling. Computational Advertising has emerged as a new interdisciplinary field encompassing information retrieval, machine learning, data mining, statistics, operations research, and micro-economics, to address the complex problems inherent in online advertising. The exponential growth of online advertising offers immense opportunities.
