Your Impact

In this critical role, you will define, plan, and lead the expansion of Axon’s digital evidence management and IoT devices portfolio across Europe. You’ll be at the intersection of strategic market development, product management, and customer engagement, driving the adoption of Axon’s ecosystem in the region.

As the International Product Manager, your responsibilities will include collaborating with local sales organizations to understand market trends and customer needs, shaping product strategies, and working with Axon’s Core Product Management teams to deliver impactful new features and products. You’ll also engage directly with national institutions and customers to evangelize Axon’s vision and value, while contributing to critical tender activities.

What You’ll Do

Location: Spain, Madrid Hybrid.
Reports to: Director, Product Management.
Languages: Must speak Spanish and English.

  • Drive European Market Expansion: Define the mission, vision, and strategy for expanding Axon’s products into European markets.
  • Engage with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with local sales organizations, customers, and national institutions to understand market needs and trends, influencing them toward Axon’s ecosystem.
  • Create Product Strategies: Develop product strategies for Axon’s portfolio to contribute to core product roadmaps and identify gaps or opportunities specific to Europe.
  • Collaborate with Core Teams: Work with Axon’s Core Product Management teams to drive the development of new features/products for international markets.
  • Lead Localization Efforts: Support regional needs by tailoring products to local compliance, language, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in Tender Processes: Provide product expertise to proposals and sales teams, ensuring Axon’s competitiveness in European tenders.
  • Evangelize Axon’s Value: Act as the regional ambassador for Axon’s digital evidence management and IoT solutions, showcasing their impact to external stakeholders.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience:
    • 4+ years in product management, with direct experience engaging with customers and senior officials.
    • Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage relationships with high-level stakeholders.
    • Technical background with familiarity in cloud software and IoT devices, with the ability to quickly learn and understand Axon’s suite of products.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect challenges and create innovative solutions.
    • Clear, concise communication, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
    • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage compliance, security, and privacy requirements.
    • Customer-centric mindset, focused on gathering feedback and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
    • Adaptability and resilience in navigating a fast-paced, evolving international environment.
  • Languages: Fluency in additional European languages (e.g., French, or Italian) is a plus.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel within Europe as required (~20%).
