YOUR ROLE:

We’re looking for a looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our Campaigns teams by monitoring and optimizing existing campaigns, ensuring that our solutions deliver personalized experiences and drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pega technology, experience in creating and managing campaigns, and proficiency with Pega’s monitoring, simulation, and model tools.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Pega Decisioning Architects and Strategy Enablement teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities using data-driven insights and advanced analytics.
  • Develop and implement new campaigns using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH), ensuring they are aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Work closely with the Pega Decisioning Architect, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful campaign execution.
  • Leverage Pega monitoring tools to track campaign performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Use Pega’s simulation tools to test and validate campaign strategies before deployment, ensuring they meet desired outcomes.
  • Manage and monitor predictive and adaptive models to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for campaign configurations, monitoring processes, and optimization strategies.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Pega campaigns, utilizing tools such as Pega Diagnostic Cloud and other tools to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest Pega features, patches, and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams or management to ensure timely resolution.
  • Create and manage JIRA tickets for bugs, enhancements, and tasks, ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved efficiently.
  • Create and manage support tickets with Pega or other third-party vendors to resolve technical issues or obtain assistance with complex problems.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Pega decisioning and related technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC), required
  • 2+ years cross-channel marketing campaign development experience
  • Proficiency in Pega monitoring tools (SMA, PDC, PLA, AES), simulation tools (VBD, Scenario Planner), and model tools (ADM, PAD).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Pega campaigns.
  • Experience creating and managing support tickets with Pega or other third-party vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong ability to be proactive in bringing new technology solutions and ideas to optimize ways of working

DESIRABLE (but not required):

  • T3 Security Clearance
  • Pega Decisioning Consultant (PCDC), Data Scientist Certification, Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) or higher Certification
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts as applied within Pega.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
