About the Role

We're looking for a Mobile Media Manager ready to navigate the dynamic terrain of mobile user acquisition at Chime. You'll take the helm of pivotal channels like Moloco, LiftOff, and ironSource, shaping the path for app downloads and engaging directly with an array of established and exploratory mobile networks. You'll be part of a team that values working together and determination. With your experience in running tests, you'll contribute to enhancing our growth plan. You'll collaborate with colleagues from various parts of the company. Collaboratively, you'll aim to enhance our mobile-first approach to gaining customers, within an encouraging and wide-ranging marketing environment.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Monitor and adjust mobile campaigns in real time to attract new users. Collaborate with the creative teams to design engaging ads. Track key metrics to assess and report on the performance of the campaigns.
  • Analyze user acquisition data to identify optimization opportunities and inform campaign strategies. Generate data-driven reports on campaign performance and user engagement for continuous improvement. Provide creative teams with insights on high-performing ad elements and present recommendations to senior management based on solid analytics.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage budgets across various mobile channels on a daily and weekly basis. Monitor expenditure closely to ensure it aligns with allocated budgets, and provide feedback within the mobile team and within paid media to ensure we take advantage of unexpected opportunities and mitigate unexpected risks..
  • Liaise with vendors to collate data for accurate forecasting of monthly spend, coordinating closely with finance and analytics teams to project spend and efficiency targets. Align these projections with broader marketing objectives by collaborating with internal teams.
  • Work with vendors to understand capabilities and design an impactful event optimization testing roadmap. Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute and measure event optimization experiments through either A/B or pre-post tests, depending on vendor capabilities. 
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine creative strategies that enhance user acquisition campaigns. Ensure creatives are frequently refreshed to maximize performance through new approaches and minimize creative fatigue.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Experience in user acquisition/performance marketing/paid media or account management, customer success or another relevant role at a mobile network.
  • Proficiency in mobile ad platforms like Moloco, DataSeat, and ironSource.
  • Experience conducting A/B tests for content strategy optimization.
  • Capability to liaise with vendors for accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of mobile tracking on iOS and Android including SKAdNetwork, probabilistic matching and deterministic attribution via IDFA and GAID. Very familiar with MMPs like Adjust, AppsFlyer, Singular, Branch, and Kochava.
  • Proficient math and spreadsheet skills, with expertise in complex functions and pivot tables. Ability to analyze relationships between cohorted and non-cohorted metrics. SQL skills are a big plus.
