Job Description

Yext (NYSE: YEXT) is the leading digital presence platform for multi-location brands, with thousands of customers worldwide. With one central platform, brands can seamlessly deliver consistent, accurate, and engaging experiences and meaningfully connect with customers anywhere in the digital world. Our AI and machine learning technology powers the knowledge behind every customer engagement, which is only possible through our team of innovators and enthusiastic collaborators. Join us and experience firsthand why we are consistently recognized as a ‘Best Place to Work’ globally by industry leaders such as Built In, Fortune, and Great Place To Work®!

We’re excited to share that Yext has recently joined forces with Hearsay Systems, forming a unified organization that is stronger than ever. This strategic acquisition enhances our ability to deliver world-class solutions by combining industry-leading digital presence management with compliant engagement solutions across social media, text, and voice. As we begin this exciting new chapter together, we’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help us integrate and continue to innovate in our shared mission.

This role will be part of the Hearsay team, now an integral part of Yext.

Hearsay Systems is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering organization in Budapest.

The Hearsay Platform is the preeminent omni-channel digital engagement center for the financial services advisor. It tethers the most effective marketing, acquisition and servicing channels into one ecosystem which enables the advisor to focus on the most important part of their job - building and servicing relationships - without the friction of switching between systems or the fear of compliance backlash.

At Hearsay, we are true believers in the power of having engineers be capable of, accountable for, and enthusiastic about owning their services from development through production, delivering value in small increments that add up to a big deal. Doing this at scale is where you come in: providing guidance, and expertise, and performing the “hands-on” projects and tasks that drive outstanding customer experience while also improving the day-to-day work of our software developers.

We are serious about our work, but we are also serious about our people. Technology provides a gateway for creativity and innovation and we want you to bring your ideas and experiences to add to our team.

Not sure if it's the right fit? Apply anyways! We are always looking for bright minds and creative problem solvers. It is not always about technology, but good people as well.

What You'll Do

  • We are a global team that spans North America and locations in the EU; your communication and coordination skills are essential to success
  • Collaborate with the peers on your  team and with engineering leadership to help design and implement organization-wide processes and architectural standards for new services
  • Evaluate, compare and recommend existing and new tooling to help optimize our processes and infrastructure
  • Meet as needed with engineering teams to understand their architecture needs
  • Participate in a standard on-call rotation to support our common infrastructure and tooling
  • Building automated processes where appropriate, prioritizing high-use and high-risk workflows
  • Participate in regular planning meetings to share recommendations and expertise with the team

What You Have

  • At least 2 years of experience in security / infrastructure / user management in a cloud-native environment.
