Technical Program Manager, YouTube Shopping

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience managing projects.
• Experience with software development and managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree, PhD, further education, or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or another related technical field.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to influence a team of technical and non-technical members.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

• Work independently across functions and levels to define and deliver software engineering projects for the YouTube Shopping domain.
• Partner with technical program manager leads to support the evolution of operational capabilities across the wider organization.
• Partner with engineering and product teams and encourage them to learn and adopt project delivery best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams.
