Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative for our fast-growing Business Development in Taiwan. This role will be responsible for recruiting, launching, and growing Taiwan merchants to become 3rd party Sellers on Amazon.com. The Sales Representative will own onboarding process & sales cycle of his/her recruited Sellers’ during the year. This person will be chartered to manage & develop Seller account strategies and assist these new to Amazon and/or new to Amazon US Sellers to accelerate their business growth by adopting Amazon best practices including but not limited to logistic & advertising programs.
This individual will be responsible for building pipelines for Taiwan based Sellers’ recruitment by conducting in-depth market landscape research and category analysis to craft specific recruitment strategies. The role will also assist Taiwan brands to identify product selections catering to consumers in US.
You will be part of business development organization under Amazon Global Selling, driving growth for Amazon Sellers through business intelligence, cross region expansion and integrated Account Management to support the growth of Taiwan based 3rd party Sellers’ business on Amazon.com.
Key job responsibilities
1. Understand Amazon Global Selling products as well as destination markets specific regulations to support Taiwan based Sellers.
2. Develop thorough understanding of cross-border e-commerce landscape in US and build up information about competitive offerings and create value proposition of Amazon Global Selling, TW to US business.
3. Identify, acquire and foster third party Sellers to join Amazon cross-border e-commerce and grow TW2US 3P Seller base.
4. Pursue & leverage internal & external resources to remove roadblocks for Seller launch.
5. Equip with in-depth knowledge toward Selling on Amazon along with the features and functionalities that critical & essential for Seller onboarding.
6. Utilize proper Amazon tools to track all pertinent account information and sales movement as well as implement action plans based on metrics insights to guild your Seller business acceleration and uncover hidden areas of opportunities.
7. Achieve business goals focusing on both quantity & quality of Seller recruitment to meet/exceed weekly launch targets, annual revenue goals and operational metrics.
8. Support additional projects while maintaining the primary book of business.
9. Prepare and deliver data driven business reviews regarding Seller development and state of health for the respective territories with Seller insight & action plans.
About the team
As an organization, Taiwan Global Selling under Amazon’s Seller Services is uniquely highly influential by coordinating across Amazon customers, Amazon category teams and Amazon Sellers. - Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
- Strong communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast-paced environment- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience in selling nascent products/services into new markets
- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields
- Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing
- B2B of sales and business development experience
