This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

About the Role

The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employees’ skills and align with organizational goals. The specialist will conduct needs assessments, collaborate with subject matter experts, and ensure training materials meet the needs of various departments. This role will support employee engagement, skill development and overall performance improvement across Weee!

Responsibilities:

  • Program Design and Development: Develop innovative learning strategies, curricula, and materials for a variety of audiences based on sound instructional design principles. 
    • Create and manage leadership development programs, skills training, and onboarding initiatives. 
    • Create and implement effective training materials, including manuals, learning modules, videos, and course content. 
    • Write and edit technical and procedural documents such as work instructions, SOPs, training aids, and user guides.
  • Facilitation and Delivery: Lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions. Ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and tailored to diverse learning styles to maximize knowledge retention.
  • Learning Needs Assessment: Partner with stakeholders to assess organizational and employee development needs. Conduct gap analyses to identify skill and competency gaps.
  • Program Evaluation and Reporting: Analyze the effectiveness of learning programs using KPIs and metrics. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on feedback and data.
  • Technology and Learning Platforms: Leverage LMS tools to manage learning content and track progress. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate modern learning technologies.
  • Stakeholder/Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other People Team members, department leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related area or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in learning and development or a similar role, with a focus on designing and delivering impactful programs
  • Proven experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and program facilitation
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organization skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Canva)
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented and time-sensitive environment.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-120,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
