As we expand our services in Melbourne, Australia, we are seeking a General Practitioner (GP) to join our multidisciplinary team and play a critical role in patient consultations, clinical assessments, and health education.

What You'll Do

Patient Consultations & Health Assessments

  • Conduct pre- and post-imaging consultations, explaining MRI results in an understandable manner.
  • Offer preventative health guidance, risk assessments, and follow-up care recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Clinical Oversight & Medical Expertise

  • Interpret MRI scan reports in a primary care setting and recommend further diagnostic testing if necessary, working in conjunction with the Australian based radiologists. 
  • Provide evidence-based advice and personalized health strategies based on imaging outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in medical imaging and early disease detection.

Patient-Centered Care

  • Address patient concerns with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Educate patients on preventative health measures and lifestyle modifications.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with radiologists, imaging technologists, and clinical staff to enhance patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, patient education materials, and operational workflows.

What You'll Bring

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) and General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a General Practitioner (GP) or Hospital Medical Officer in Australia.
  • Fellowship of RACGP would be favourably considered.
  • Strong interest in preventative or functional  medicine, diagnostic imaging, and holistic patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss MRI results with patients.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care and ethical medical practices.
