Engineering Manager : Display Engineering China

We are seeking a highly accomplished Engineering Manager to build and grow a new display engineering team in China. The team will be a critical pillar under the Glass Display Team (GDT) which is responsible for all the AR and smart-glass display programs in Meta. As the leader of this new China team, you will be responsible for growing and overseeing multiple technical domains of display in the region, including display optics, process and equipment development and opto-mechanics. You will be driving display NPI/NTI activities and module/system development in China across display supply chains. You and your team will be supporting and collaborating with the GDT display module and system teams in the USA. As the point of contact for GDT in China, you will have extensive collaboration with other in-region Meta teams including metrology, PD, SQE, Tech-ops, along with international suppliers across time zones. Clear and effective communication is essential to remove barriers and ensure seamless collaboration across teams. Your background in display engineering along with with your experience of developing a team from zero to one and your leadership across technical domains and across orgs will be great assets for us.
