To support our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and experienced Delivery Director to lead our IT Applications Delivery team. This role will primarily focus on advanced Force.com platform development and building enterprise-wide integrations, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions through collaboration with global teams and US-based stakeholders.  

This position is based out of one of the offices of our affiliate Acqueon Technologies in Chennai, India, and will adopt the hybrid work arrangements of that location. You will be a member of the Acqueon team with responsibilities supporting Five9 products, collaborating with global teammates based primarily in the United States.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage global teams of full-time and contract developers in India and Portugal, as well as oversee India-based managed services providers. Provide mentorship and development opportunities to ensure high performance and growth within the team. 
  • Provide leadership for advanced Force.com platform development, including Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce-centric solutions, while establishing best practices, development guardrails, and reusable design patterns. 
  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide integrations using iPaaS tools such as Workato, driving innovative solutions that ensure seamless connectivity across applications. Establish and enforce best practices for integration architecture, design, and implementation to deliver scalable and robust systems. 
  • Collaborate with US-based delivery leaders to intake, prioritize, and manage work requests for the development team and managed services providers. Oversee delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes and facilitate the smooth handoff of completed work products. 
  • Manage development backlogs, sprints, and prioritization lists to ensure work is aligned with business objectives and delivered on schedule. 
  • Foster technical excellence and optimize development processes by implementing and maintaining best-in-class DevSecOps practices, including continuous integration/delivery pipelines, to enhance delivery efficiency and quality. 
  • Oversee offshore vendor operations and support practices, ensuring adherence to established standards and the consistent delivery of high-quality services. 

Key Requirements: 

  • 9+ years IT leadership experience and 6+ years managing cloud applications required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is required. 
  • Previous hands-on experience with Force.com platform applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. 
  • Previous experience supporting iPaaS platforms, such as Workato, to build enterprise-wide integrations. 
  • Experience with Freshservice and Monday.com is a significant plus, contributing to enhanced service management and collaborative project delivery. 
  • Experience working with and delivering projects using Agile methodology, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development processes. 
  • Experience managing global teams of full-time and contractual developers across multiple geographies and time zones. 
  • Strong execution ability with a track record of taking concepts from idea to launch. 
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment. 
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and partnering skills. 
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. 
  • Confidence, humility, creativity, and a positive attitude are a must
