Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience with cloud-based identity and access management solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise users and identifying protocols and standards (e.g., OpenID Connect, SAML).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge in building accessibility best practices, with the ability to incorporate inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As an Identity Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and driving the Identity Platform product strategy and roadmap that are critical for Workspace to be widely adopted across customer sizes. You will own the charter to ensure Workspace customers are able to collaborate securely with external guests. You will define how Workspace integrates securely with existing customer stacks/apps including IdPs, HRIS systems. You will collaborate with the Partnership team to develop a partnership strategy for this area. You will also work with other Google PAs who rely on Cloud Identity Platform to create a joint roadmap.You will work closely with customers, research, sales teams to understand the market, customer pain points.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Define and advocate a product goal, strategy, and roadmap for Google Workspace Identity Platform.
  • Define strategy, product requirements and deliver capabilities to enable secure external collaboration across Workspace.
  • Define strategy, product requirements and deliver capabilities for Workspace to integrate with existing customer technical stack including third-party IdPs, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) systems.
  • Drive buy in from Workspace leadership on strategy and execute. Define partnerships strategy and collaborate with the partnership team to execute.
  • Develop enablement plan working with sales and marketing teams for this area. Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
