The Amazon Alexa International team seeks a driven, highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support 2-3 Directors within the Alexa International Tech Team [AIT]. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the AIT Executive Team while also providing high-level coordination with other Executive Assistant throughout the team and organization. Will partner with the Lead EA of the organization on special projects and to spearhead process improvements.
A successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential and sensitive information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge on how to work with an International Team while working in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment, managing ever-shifting calendars and managing multiple assignments and people simultaneously. Must have the ability to communicate well. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.
Key job responsibilities
The EA is responsible to a broad variety of tasks including:
• Management of complex international calendars and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations and time zones
• Manage expense reports, planning detailed domestic and international travel
• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
• Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team, ranging from organizational communication mechanisms to planning business meetings
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on unresolved items
• Communicating on behalf of the executives directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization.
• Coordinating with the EA team on organization-wide initiatives.
• Have fun at work and help others do the same- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with executive level calendar management- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
