We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead APAC GFD (Global Forward Deployment) expansion projects, with a focus on optimizing cross-border logistics operations for China and Malaysia. This strategic role will drive end-to-end improvements across our GFD leg1 operations while ensuring operational excellence and performance metrics enhancement.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead GFD expansion projects across APAC region
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize cross-border logistics operations
- Review and improve operational metrics for CN/MY GFD operations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across GFD leg1
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment with network standards
- Provide regular performance analysis and strategic recommendations
A day in the life
As a Senior PM leading our APAC GFD expansion projects, your day begins with reviewing overnight operational metrics from China and Malaysia hubs, analyzing performance data, and identifying areas for immediate attention. You'll lead meetings with cross-border teams to address any operational challenges and align on daily priorities. Throughout the day, you'll focus on managing GFD leg1 expansion projects, which includes coordinating with customs authorities, freight partners, and local operations teams to optimize cross-border processes. You'll spend significant time analyzing performance metrics, developing improvement strategies, and conducting solution workshops with various stakeholders. - 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
