Job Overview:  

Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software, is seeking a data-driven, results-oriented, and experienced Director of ABM and Paid Media to lead global Account Based Marketing and Paid Media programs. This role is crucial in aligning ABM and Paid Media programs with GTM objectives in the field, enhancing brand awareness, and accelerating business growth by developing tailored campaigns aimed at engaging specific prospect and customer segments. The ideal candidate must be based in the U.S. and possess a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on skills, and a proven record of accomplishment in leading ABM and Paid Media for B2B software/SaaS companies. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and execute account-based marketing plans for strategic accounts, aligning with the sales team to ensure targeted and cohesive strategies. 
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing to identify, reach, and engage target accounts and persona-based audiences. 
  • Leverage customized marketing content and messaging across ad platforms and landing pages. 
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of ABM and Paid Media campaigns, experiments, and strategies, providing actionable insights and optimization recommendations. 
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, optimizing for sales pipeline ROI on ABM and Paid Media initiatives. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest ABM tools, technologies, and trends to keep our ABM programs ahead of the competition. 
  • Inspire and mentor peers and direct reports, fostering a data-driven culture and GTM synergies with world-class alignment between the field and marketing teams. 
  • Manage 3rd-party vendors and agencies by holding them accountable for outstanding performance, attention to detail, and value for Five9. 
  • Work with Demand Gen and Marketing Operations leaders to manage detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting, as part of an integrated Demand Gen marketing budget and plan. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build instrumentation for measuring ABM and Paid Media results, including strategic expansions and experiments. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field. 
  • 12+ years of experience in account based marketing and paid media. Experience as a team leader for 7+ years. Hands-on experience with 6sense and Google Ads, with strong understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation tools. 
  • Proven success managing ABM, PPL, search, display, retargeting, PerformanceMax, etc. campaigns across Google, Bing, GDN, DV360, 6sense, DSPs, PPL websites, and more. 
  • Well versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. 
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Domo, Google Ads/Analytics, Data Studio, Excel) 
  • Strong experience with reporting and analyzing ROAS 
  • Familiarity with A/B, multivariate, and incrementality experiments across paid media and landing pages. 
  • Proven track record of successfully growing pipeline coverage while maintaining acceptable acquisition costs and managing multimillion-dollar budgets. 
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and mentoring teams. 
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to work under pressure with measurable performance metrics while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, a growth mindset, and a data-driven approach. 

 Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo. 
  • Prior experience in the contact center software, CCaaS, or CX B2B software industry. 
  • Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies. 

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office.  For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below.
$113,700$296,500 USD
