About the job

This position is needed to manage our systems contracts, renewals and vendor relations for Global Operations at Twilio. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work on renewals of our systems contracts by creating and following up on purchase orders
  • Cultivate relationships with our vendors and attend regular checkins 
  • Partner with business owners, finance, legal, procurement and security teams to ensure contracts are executed on time and invoices are cleared on time
  • Maintain a meticulous list of systems with details of spend and renewal timelines

Required: 

  • Experience in Systems Contract Management, Procurement
    • Understanding of how to raise purchase requisitions and  manage contracts in relent tools
    • Ability to follow up and work with procurement, legal and finance teams to get contracts approved and clear invoices on time .
    • Ability to work with Security and Privacy teams to initiate infosec reviews by documenting details 
  • Vendor Management:
    • Maintain vendor relations, attending regular check-ins and QBRs
    • Keep track of new features and enhancements released and communicate with relevant teams
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • good written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate concepts/ideas in a clear, concise manner both to our vendors and partners as well as internal Twilio teams 
    • work on thorough documentation of systems, cost and contract renewal information
    • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization across different groups like Procurement, Legal, Finance and Business Stakeholder teams.
  • Familiarity with Tools:
    • Hands on experience raising a purchase requisition in systems like Oracle, checking contracts in Agiloft and familiarity with Google docs, Confluence, Airtable and Jira

Desired:

Basic understanding of Cloud based Business Applications and Systems: 

    • Familiarity with cloud based solutions like Zendesk, Salesforce and related tools and apps
    • Atleast 2 years of experience working in teams using business applications
  • Project Management and Scrum:
    • Scrum Certification and ability to run scrum calls and manage sprints in  jira board for the team 

Location

This role will be remote, and based in Colombia.

Travel
